With a Gold Medal in M. Pharm. under his belt/After completing his M. Pharm with a Gold Medal in the year 1972, our Director, Mukund Nagarnaik ventured out in the Pharmaceuticals industry in Mumbai. Soon thereafter, the entrepreneur in him seized the opportunity to establish a testing laboratory in his hometown Nagpur in the year 1974. There has been no looking back since then. Qualichem Laboratories is the first FDA approved laboratory in Central India. He has always been passionate about testing and has a natural flair for doing business. Right from travelling miles to collect a single oil sample to being the hub for oil testing today, from creating awareness regarding food testing to providing testing services to major welfare initiatives by the state government, from providing analytical services to local pharmaceutical companies to being a laboratory specialising in drug, cosmetics and ayurvedic analysis for pharma industry spread across the country, he has always pushed boundaries and always believed in constant and continual improvement. His vision, 45 years of long-standing experience and his commitment to quality has always kept Qualichem Laboratories at par with laboratories of outstanding repute.

He believes in contributing to the society in more ways than one. He has been the president of major professional organisations like Central India Pharmacy Promotion and Research Association (CIPPARA), Indian Society of Analytical Scientists (ISAS) and of social organisations like Rotary Club of Green City. He has conducted consumer awareness workshops, food safety trainings, GLP trainings through these platforms. Being a true leader, visionary and a thorough professional is what sets him apart from the rest.
